As I write this, I'm looking out at NYC from my apartment on our first day off after our first full week of shows on Broadway! It's been a thrill to come to work every day, to sit behind the keyboard and realize that I'm conducting a show at THE Palace Theatre - 103 years old so far, and still gorgeous and with incredible prestige. Pekas, our elevator operator, showed me the Judy Garland staircase, which was installed for her entrance from the back of the house in a show in the 50's - which was amazing! The history of this theatre is incredible.
We perform 8 shows a week until Christmas, and then we have even more performances! Please come on over and join us for a performance - tickets are on sale at theillusionistslive.com, or on TodayTix and at the TKTS booth.
Here are some more pictures from this week's performances.
