JULY 22-25   |   ROCHESTER SUMMER MUSIC THEATER

MUSIC DIRECTOR, CONDUCTOR

I was back for my 4th year as conductor for Rochester Community Schools' Summer Music Theater, conducting the Enchanted Edition of the classic show "Cinderella". A really magical show, our cast of 90 kids was fantastic, as was the 26-piece orchestra that I had down in the pit. The orchestra truly sounded amazing, with a 9-piece string section and 3 french horns. Add to that mix a really great staff and a dedicated group of crew kids, and you have a remarkable production.

OCTOBER 10-20 |   OAKLAND UNIVERSITY

Keyboard 2, Associate Conductor, Synth Programmer

Had a blast playing Keyboard 2 on one of the first productions of this famously ill-fated musical outside of NYC. The music is a lot of fun, the band was fantastic, and I was lucky enough to also have the Associate Conductor chair, which meant I played Keyboard 1 & conducted one of our shows during the run. After we finished the run in October, we were invited to perform the show in January at the Detroit Music Hall, and then again in Saginaw at the KCACTF Festival.
